On the afternoon of September 26, Shanghai officially released the "three year action plan for Shanghai 5g industry development and application innovation (2019-2021)" (hereinafter referred to as the "plan"), aiming to build Shanghai into a world-famous highland for 5g industry development and source of application innovation by 2021. Specifically, it includes the following aspects:
1. The scale of the industry has been greatly improved. By 2021, the city''s 5g industry will achieve the goal of "three hundred billion", that is, the scale of 5g manufacturing industry, software and information service industry and application industry will reach 100 billion yuan. There are more than 300 enterprises in the city''s 5g industrial chain, more than 5 leading 5g enterprises have entered the national top 100 electronic enterprises, and more than 8 enterprises with a scale of 10 billion yuan.
2. We will accelerate breakthroughs in key links. By 2021, the "five poles" of 5g industrial agglomeration will be formed in Jinqiao, Zhangjiang, Caohejing, Huawei Park and G60 science and technology innovation corridor. 5g chips have reached the world''s leading 5nm technology level, and the industrial bottlenecks of key RF devices and optical devices have been initially broken through. 5g test equipment, modules, terminals and base station equipment have achieved mass production, and the indoor digital system (DIS) has been applied in a large scale.
3. Innovative applications are widely deployed. By 2021, the city''s 5g application will achieve the goal of "ten hundred thousand", that is, focus on 10 key vertical industries, build 10 5g innovation and application demonstration bases; build 100 5g innovation and application enterprises, form 100 industry application benchmarks; cultivate 1000 5g innovation and application projects, and the scale of application industry will exceed 100 billion yuan.
It is worth noting that in the plan, it is mentioned to build "five poles" of industrial agglomeration. Among them, Pudong Jinqiao focuses on 5g system equipment, Pudong Zhangjiang focuses on 5g chip, Xuhui Caohejing focuses on 5g intelligent terminal, Songjiang G60 scientific innovation corridor 5g innovation base focuses on 5g test equipment, Qingpu Huawei Park focuses on chip and terminal. We will support the establishment of 5g industrial parks in areas where conditions permit, and attract high-quality enterprises in 5g chips and components, communication equipment, high-end testing, terminal R & D and other industries to settle down. Relying on alliances, associations and other industrial organizations, organize forums and competitions to promote upstream and downstream cooperation. Build a multi-level 5g cooperation and exchange platform, strengthen the industrial linkage with the international and domestic, especially the Yangtze River Delta region, and promote the coordinated development of 5g industry.
According to the national 5g strategic plan, Shanghai will focus on the development of "two strong industries" of 5g key chips and 5g intelligent terminals, so as to promote the joint development of chip and terminal industries. Focus on the development of 5g core chips, support the terminal industry to become bigger and stronger, cultivate and expand the "four growth poles" of RF devices and test equipment, 5g communication module, optical communication devices and modules, and 5g communication equipment, and promote the development of 5g communication industry chain.
