Measurement datum setting
Short press the datum key to set the mutual conversion between the front-end datum and the end datum. The system defaults to the end datum.
delay measurement 
Long press to start the delay measurement mode, the screen shows "sec", the default delay time is 5 seconds, and the value can be adjusted by the plus or minus key.
Press the read key to start the countdown. The countdown ends and the measurement begins.
Backlight on / off
The backlight of this instrument is on and off automatically. After typing any key, the backlight will be turned on for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the backlight will be turned off automatically without any operation to save power.
Sound on / off
Long press the plus minus key to turn on or off the buzzer.
Self calibration function
In order to ensure the accuracy of the instrument, self calibration function is provided.
Calibration method: in the off state, keep pressing the off key, then press the read key, release the read key until "CRL" appears on the screen. According to the error of the instrument, use the plus minus sign and save key to adjust the value. The adjustment range is: - 9 ~ 9mm
For example, the actual distance is 3.780m
If the measured value of the machine is 3.778m, which is 2mm smaller than the actual value, you can enter the calibration mode, and use the save key to lower the calibration value by 3mm on the existing basis.
After adjustment, press the read key to save the calibration results.
Distance measurement, area measurement, volume measurement, Pythagorean indirect measurement, cumulative measurement and cumulative measurement
Single measurement:
In the mode to be measured, press read, the laser of the instrument will be launched, and the measuring point will be locked. Then press the read key to measure the single distance data, and the measurement results are displayed in the main display area.
Continuous measurement:
In the mode to be tested, long press the read key to enter the continuous measurement state, and the auxiliary display area on the screen will display the maximum and minimum measurement values in the continuous measurement process.
The main display area will display the current measurement value, short press the read key or off key to exit the continuous measurement mode.
Measurement area:
Press the read key to measure the first side (length)
Press the read key to measure the second side (width)
The instrument will calculate the area automatically, and the result will be displayed in the main display area. The measured value of the length and width of the rectangle of the auxiliary display area.
In the process of measurement, you can also type off to clear the measurement result and re measure.
When there is no data in the display area, press the off key to push out the area measurement status and enter the length measurement mode.
Volume measurement:
Press the read key to measure the first side (length)
Press the read key to measure the second side (width)
Press the read key to measure the third side (high)
The instrument will automatically calculate the volume, and the results will be displayed in the main display area. The auxiliary display area displays the measured value of the length, width and height of the cube.
In the process of measurement, you can also type off to clear the measurement result and re measure.

Wall area measurement:
Press the read key to measure the height of the wall;
According to read minus measurement, the width 1 of wall 1 is measured;
The instrument will automatically calculate the area of the wall = height * width 1;
Press the read key to measure the width 2 of wall 2;
The instrument will automatically calculate the total area of the wall
Total area = height * (width 1 + width 2);
And so on, press the read key to measure the width n of the wall n;
Total area = height * (width 1 + width 2 + ··· + width n);
In the process of measurement, you can also type off to clear the measurement result and re measure.
If there is no data in the display area, press the off key to exit the area measurement state and enter the length measurement mode.
Indirect measurement of Pythagorean theorem:
There are four preset modes of measuring triangle unilateral distance by Pythagorean theorem, which is convenient for users to measure indirectly in specific complex environment.

In Pythagorean measurement mode, the right angle side must be less than the length of the hypotenuse, otherwise the instrument will display an error signal. In the Pythagorean measurement mode, in order to ensure the accuracy of measurement, it is necessary to ensure the measurement from the same starting point, and measure in the order of oblique side and right angle side.
Addition and subtraction measurement function:
The single distance measurement can be added or subtracted. After the user obtains a measurement result by measuring a single section of distance, he can enter the function selection of accumulation and subtraction through the plus and minus key, and briefly press the plus and minus key, then + will appear in the main display area of screen measurement to enter the accumulation value.
Enter the plus or minus key again, the main display area of screen measurement will appear -. Enter the cumulative measurement mode, and the screen will display the difference between the last measurement value and the current measurement value.
Accumulation and subtraction are selected by the plus minus key.
Not only distance but also area and volume can be accumulated.
Measurement record storage function
In the measurement mode, if the current data is valid, long press the save key for three seconds, and the current measurement data will be automatically stored in the instrument memory.
In the indirect measurement mode of area, volume and triangle, when all tests are finished, it can also be stored. At this time, the instrument will save the complete record of the measurement in the changed measurement mode.

Angle measurement: the angle information is always displayed on the top of the display screen, and the angle measurement range is - 90 ~ 90 degrees

Daily maintenance of instruments
It is forbidden to store the instrument in a high temperature and humidity environment for a long time. When the instrument is not used for a long time, please put it in a random instrument case, store it in a cool and dry place, and remove the battery.
Please keep the surface of the instrument clean. Use a wet soft cloth to wipe the dust on the surface. Do not use corrosive lotion to clean the instrument. The laser window and focus lens can be wiped according to the method of wiping the optical device table.
